Is qigong just a placebo? What about tai chi? What is a placebo anyway? And how does self-healing really work?
These are questions that I addressed in a live broadcast on Facebook.

Hi Sifu,
Thank you for getting my password working again. My history with you is proof positive Qigong is NOT a placebo. When I came to your studio 3 years ago I in my early 80’s with health baggage of chronic low back and neck pain Lessened by 1976 surgery, 2012 diagnosis of arthritic knees that required immediate left knee replacement which could be delayed by injections, stomach and bowl problems including acid re-flux (started daily medication for life; my chiropractor said would eventually damage my immune system)
Today at age 86 I have been TOTALLY low back and neck pain free for over one year with no further chiropractic monthly adjustments, NO stomach or bowl problems and 95% improvement in knee problems ( walk 6 flights of stairs daily and begin my days with a minimum of 15 minutes of Qigong)
It never ceases to amaze me at how stupid we humans can be. By August 2017 I was doing over one hour of Qigong every day and the knees were back to 100% healthy- then the hurricanes started hitting Florida and I let that interrupt my focus. With life’s interruptions I FELL-OFF the wagon (and have recently realized it is a Chariot) I “woke-up” in December realizing I had gone weeks with zero Qigong and now needed a cane to walk. Concentrated on re-building Qi in my system and soon got rid of the cane. I was back on our Chariot. Hopefully I’m smart enough not to fall off but at least I know our Chariot is always there, patiently waiting.
Thank you Sifu, Merry Christmas to you and yours
P.S. our Sebring, Fl. Fountainhead condo is for sale, turn key furnished.
