This is indeed a very useful article Anthony Sipak. Thank you for sharing it!

I hope it is going to reach as many people, who need this kind of information, as possible.

Many doctors are too eager to refer patients for the surgery. A friend of mine was advised to have few vertebrae fused. Fortunately he postponed it and found the solution to his problem. No surgery was required!

This kind of surgery would be irreversible and would cause him discomfort and limit his range of movement for the rest of his life.

Looking forward to the next blog entry!

All the best

As always , excellent article from Sifu Anthony Korahais .

Following Anthony's Kung Fu strategy , my dad , mum , aunt , brother in law and sister in law have been able to postpone ( and do not need surgery anymore as of today ) their spine , heart , knee and eye surgeries respectively and this strategy is running successfully since from a range of 12 years to a few months ago for the various health conditions .

Wishing a Happy Healthy & Prosperous New Year to Sifu Anthony , his lovely Dr Akemi and All at Flowing Zen .

Cheers with Chi :)

Great advice! I broke my proximal humerus (complicated impacted fracture) and a young doctor appeared by my hospital bed early one morning to tell me that there was an opening for surgery the very next day. My gut told me - don't do this - so I said I need more than 24 hours to decide something so serious. So glad - as 2 days later I was told by the senior orthopedic consultant that I didn't need surgery, wearing a special sling and doing physical therapy would allow it to heal - and now all is well..

I was able to do Qigong in my hospital bed and it helped my strength and spirit so much!

I think surgery should usually be a last resort.

Thanks for this great article Sifu.
